Service Description
We will develop skills to make captivating beginnings, what we call the Platform, and how to find a change or Tilt to your scene for maximum impact. We will explore this through game, scene work, genre-based storytelling, and long-form narratives. Gain access to the magical powers that will enhance improvised scene work in any style. Side Show Performance on final class. March 24th - May 12th Mondays 6:00pm-8:00pm ACCESSIBILITY INFO: The main entrance is the ground floor. The door is wide enough to accommodate a standardized wheelchair and electric wheelchair. Our main lobby, bar and theatre are wheelchair accessible. Our stage is not as it is raised about 4 inches off the ground. Our bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The closest wheelchair accessible washroom is at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre, across the street from the theatre. Their hours of operations are Monday-Friday, 6 am to 10 pm, Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, 9 am to 6 pm. Cancellation Policy
Full Refund: If Tightrope needs to cancel a class due to illness, or low registration, you will be refunded in full. If you cancel your registration 72 hours or more before the course start date, you will receive a full refund, with the exception of The First Step which is non refundable. Partial Refund: If you cancel your registration within 72 hours of the class starting you may receive: 100% Credit 50% Refund No Refund: Once the course has begun there will be no refunds issued. Exceptions will be made in the case of death, serious injury or serious illness. The First Step is non refundable, however you may switch the date of your registration up to 1 time. *Eventbrite's fees are non-refundable
