Service Description
Experience the foundational games and concepts that bring improvisation to life. This five-week course is for anyone who wants to be more spontaneous or connect with others. Conquer fear, embrace positivity, learn to inspire others, create worlds and be transformed, all while having deep belly laughs alongside poignant observations about life. 5 weeks, 10 hours total. January 9th - February 6th Saturdays 2PM - 4PM Instructor: Camille Legg About Camille: Camille Legg is an improviser and actor. They perform, teach, bartend, and attempt to do the worm at Tightrope Theatre. Camille has been doing improv since the age of 15, where they competed in the Canadian improv games, which was basically a group of hyper and imaginative teenagers screaming at each other in front of their parents. Since then, they have screamed on various stages around Canada, but it’s not just their parents in the audience anymore, so it's LEGIT. Some of these stages include Bard on the Beach, Arts Club, The Cultch, and The Citadel. They also speak at a very quiet volume in front of a camera sometimes, notably in Riverdale and in an indie movie where they kill Ron Perlman (spoiler alert). Catch Camille at a local coffee shop on the drive, staring into the void as they contemplate their life choices If you have further concerns or questions regarding accessibility during workshops, please email education@tightropetheatre.com.
