Service Description
Foundations 3 is an 8-week course that builds the skills to create dynamic characters and compelling improvised stories. Through the study of status, power dynamics, physicality, and authentic human behaviour, you'll expand your character range and discover how relationships drive engaging scenes. You'll also develop the tools to craft strong scene structure, learning how to establish a captivating beginning (the Platform) and uncover meaningful shifts (the Tilt) that propel scenes forward. Using games, scene work, genre exploration, and long-form narrative, you'll strengthen your ability to create stories that are both believable and entertaining. Cancellation Policy
Full Refund: If Tightrope needs to cancel a class due to illness, or low registration, you will be refunded in full. If you cancel your registration 1 week or more before the course start date, you will receive a full refund, with the exception of The First Step which is non refundable. Partial Refund: If you cancel your registration within 3-6 days of the class starting you may receive: 100% Credit 50% Refund No Refund: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class begins are non-refundable. Exceptions will be made in the case of death, serious injury or serious illness. The First Step is non refundable, however you may switch the date of your registration up to 1 time. *Eventbrite's fees are non-refundable
