Service Description
Bring your characters to life and level up your roleplay! Improv for D&D is a 4-week course designed for folks who want to feel more confident, creative, and present in their roleplay. Through fun improv exercises and scene work, we’ll practice building memorable characters, making bold choices, and reacting authentically in the moment, just like at the table. Whether you are a seasoned player or an eager newbie this class will help you build confidence, collaborate with others, and make every session feel more immersive, dynamic, and fun! October 8th - October 29th Thursdays 6:00PM - 9:00PM Instructor: Brent Hirose About Brent: Brent Hirose (he/him) is an actor, writer, director, voice over artist, professional wrestler and improviser who has performed all over North America. He served as the Co-Artistic Director of Instant Theatre (2016-2019) and is the current AD of the Spontaneous Shakespeare Company, a current and founding member of Fistful of Kicks and a proud member of Tightrope. Along with Tightrope, he teaches improv for Improv for Work and Wellness and teaches and designed the curriculum for the Essentials stream at Vancouver Film School. He is delighted to bring his love of narrative, absurdity and terrible puns to all. When he is not doing improv you can probably see him body slamming people all around the Pacific Northwest as part of his tag team The Moral Panic. Cancellation Policy
Full Refund: If Tightrope needs to cancel a class due to illness, or low registration, you will be refunded in full. If you cancel your registration 1 week or more before the course start date, you will receive a full refund, with the exception of The First Step which is non refundable. Partial Refund: If you cancel your registration within 3-6 days of the class starting you may receive: 100% Credit 50% Refund No Refund: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class begins are non-refundable. Exceptions will be made in the case of death, serious injury or serious illness. The First Step is non refundable, however you may switch the date of your registration up to 1 time. *Eventbrite's fees are non-refundable
