AGES 8- 12 years old Our dynamic workshops are designed to help young performers to explore the art of improvisation in a fun, supportive environment. Led by experienced instructors, these classes offer a fantastic opportunity to develop quick thinking, teamwork, and storytelling skills while making new friends. Whether you're a budding comedian or simply looking to try something new, Tightrope Theatre is the perfect place to let your imagination soar! September 5th - December 5th 2026 No class on October 10th Saturdays 10:00AM-11:30AM Instructors: Sarah Ferguson & Sterling Weran About Sarah: Sarah Ferguson is a queer actor, improvisor, and teacher based in Vancouver, BC. She holds a diploma in Theatre Performance from Mount Royal University, and a BFA in Theatre from Simon Fraser University. Sarah wears many hats & wigs, both on and off the stage. She is one of Tightrope Theatre's Co-Founders, the Director of Operations, and performs weekly with their ensemble. As a faculty member, Sarah is dedicated to developing exciting programming for Tightrope’s Youth & Teens. Sarah is currently the Lower Mainland Regional Producer for The Canadian Improv Games which spotlights the uniqueness of Canadian youth. Her work can be seen in film, television and on stage. Some recent credits include: The Flash, Hallmark’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered, and CBC Gem’s The Slowest Show About Sterling: Actor and Clown enthusiast, Sterling is an emerging artist bringing some Gen Z flair to the company. As the 'Forever Intern' of Tightrope, Sterling can be found often around the theatre helping in some way. Seeking Representation! Cancellation Policy
Full Refund: If Tightrope needs to cancel a class due to illness, or low registration, you will be refunded in full. If you cancel your registration 1 week or more before the course start date, you will receive a full refund, with the exception of The First Step which is non refundable. Partial Refund: If you cancel your registration within 3-6 days of the class starting you may receive: 100% Credit 50% Refund No Refund: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class begins are non-refundable. Exceptions will be made in the case of death, serious injury or serious illness. The First Step is non refundable, however you may switch the date of your registration up to 1 time. *Eventbrite's fees are non-refundable
