For anyone dreaming of taking their improv to the next level, or gaining a deeper understanding of the core concepts so you can play confidently in any style, format, or performance. All courses include a final performance at our monthly student showcase Side Show.

FIVE WEEKS & ONE SHOW!

This course will open up all the possibilities of story. We will develop skills to make captivating beginnings, what we call the Platform, and how to find a change or Tilt to your scene for maximum impact. We will explore this through game, scene work, genre-based storytelling, and long-form narratives. Gain access to the magical powers that will enhance improvised scenework in any style. Side Show Performance on final class. 

FIVE WEEKS & ONE SHOW!

This course will give you tools and training to spontanously create believable and entertaining characters in scenes. We will explore techniques of status and power dynamics, physical acuity, outragous attitudes and more. We will mine the comedic potential of authentic human behaiour, so you can expand your character range and create compelling stories in any improvisational style. Side Show Performance on the final class.

FIVE WEEKS & ONE SHOW!

This course will immerse you in a wide variety of genres and styles, that you'll be able to recreate on stage for enthralling dramas, thrilling horrors or hilarious comedies. Each week we will explore a new genre, for example Rom Com, Sci Fi, Film Noir, Western, and Horror. Finally, we will wrap it all up in a final showcase where all students will improvise a scene in a selected genre. Some research (movies!) will be expected as part of the course.
